Our Zero Dog Wash collection has been completely reformulated from the ground up.

We wanted a range that cleans effectively, rinses well and gives you options for different dogs and different ways of washing — while being thoughtful about what we put against their skin and through their coat.

So we went back to the formulation bench and started again.

The result is a four-product collection, available in liquid and solid, with our everyday Rice + Neem formulations and our gentler Sensitive Oat options.

And there's one thing you won't find in any of them:

No essential oils.

We use essential oils thoughtfully in many of the products we formulate for humans, but dogs aren't humans.

Some essential oils are known to be toxic to dogs, and exposure can occur not only through ingestion but through skin contact and subsequent grooming. Risk varies according to the particular oil, concentration and level of exposure.

Rather than adding fragrance simply to make a freshly washed dog smell like something else, we chose not to use essential oils at all.

No lavender dog.

No peppermint dog.

No Spring Meadow With Notes of Whatever. 😂

Just a clean dog.

Rice + Neem Liquid Dog Wash
Our everyday liquid formulation, made using our own liquid soap base with rice and neem. Concentrated, easy to distribute through a wet coat and designed for dogs who have a particular talent for finding dirt.

Sensitive Oat Liquid Dog Wash
Our gentle, soap-free liquid option. Formulated with colloidal oat and without neem for dogs where a simpler formulation is preferred.

Rice + Neem Solid Dog Wash
A concentrated solid alternative to liquid dog wash. Easy to work directly through a wet coat, economical to use and a great option for reducing packaging.

Sensitive Oat Solid Dog Wash
Our gentle solid option, formulated with oat and without neem or essential oils. Simple, concentrated and easy to use.

Like the rest of the products we manufacture at Zero, our Dog Wash collection isn't a ready-made formulation we've bought and put our name on.
